I really like the enthusiasm and fun that goes on this day.. My only problem was that I only got to one store in my local area. I had unexpected car problems and spent most of the day in the waiting room. I did go to one comic store close by and got a "nice stack" I wanted to see how the other stores have their version or interpetation of FCBD. Well,, there is always next year. I did get some good reads and I highly recommend the "Owly" book as well as the "Comic Festival" with the Darwyn Cooke cover. Great new and old stuff to get.. I got the John Sable Freelance Vol 1 trade paperback. It really brought back some great memories of the 80's when Mike Grell wrote for First Comics. Great stuff.. Also, FREE COMIC BOOK DAY is this sat May 7, 2005. I think the comic industry is on the right track by having such an event as this one!!!
